Matt Rees (comedian)
Matt Rees is an award-winning,〔South Wales Echo ("Matt Rees is the Welsh Comedian Who Can't Stop Winning" ) 21 December 2012.〕 up and coming Welsh comedian.
Rees is a Chortle Awards nominee〔Chortle ("Chortle Page, Matt Rees" ) 2012.〕 and is making his name on the comedy circuit having recently supported Elis James. He performed as part of the Pleasance Reserve at Edinburgh Festival Fringe this year (2012).
He has been nominated for and won numerous awards including Welsh Unsigned Stand-up Award, Loaded Laftas New Act of the Year, Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year〔This is Leicestershire ("Leicester Comedy Festival, Matt takes Top Prize" ) 20 February 2012.〕 and Chortle Best Newcomer.
